As Apache HTTPD Technoleader in Société Générale, technological watch is a must have practice I have to perform everydays.

During the end of 2017, multiples CVE were discovered  concerning Apache HTTPD.

​

It had consequence for me to patch it asap in our main impacted infrastructures.

​

Performing a good technological watch often permit to fix security breachs before the client ask you to do it.

​

  In 2015, when POODLE SSL hack has been discovered I had to patch almost 40 clients servers in BNP as we had Middlewares installed on it.

​

I was alerted first by my personal RSS client and I contacted myself security team to alert on it. It's a strong souvenir which remind me the Technilogical watch importance.

  Openshift plateform project was first planned to be installed in version 3.5. After seeing that Version 3.6 should fix some minor bug, I decided to wait its availability to install it directly in production then I upgraded the Dev Plateform (3.5 to 3.6). I permited us to gain some work weeks.
